I highly recommend Bucks Dog Training! Ed and team transformed our dog, Rudy, into a confident, calm and obedient guy! Ed tailored a program addressing Rudy’s areas of opportunity and he patiently taught him in a structured way- and then transitioned him back to us with tools to reinforce and continue his training. I am incredibly grateful for Ed and the program through Bucks Dog Training!

Our mini Bernedoodle was nearing one year old and despite working with him at home on our own, we were still having issues with impulse control. On walks, when we encountered other people and sometimes other dogs, Kobe would pull nonstop and turn into an uncontrollable “spazoid”! He also couldn’t be trusted to be alone in the house even for a few minutes for fear of him finding something and chewing it up. We knew he was smart and would “sit” and “come” but only when he wanted to. We found ourselves having him spend way more time in his crate than we wanted. After much research on our options, we chose to work with Ed at Buck’s Dog Training of South Jersey and we couldn’t be more pleased. During our pup’s two week stay with Ed in his home, Ed would send us videos, pictures, and text updates so we could see Kobe’s progress. When we picked Kobe up after the program, Ed spent about an hour with our entire family giving us all a chance to practice walking and commands with Kobe while Ed was there to help guide and give us tips. Now that Kobe is home, we continue to practice with him and Ed checks in with us to see how things are going. Kobe is much calmer now and listens to us as easily as we saw him listening to Ed on the videos…..

Ed in the Mantua location is an awesome guy. Best investment I ever made with this dude. I would highly recommend him to anyone as he came recommended to me. This fella knows how to train a dog and does it with patience and passion. I rescued a year and a half old bull terrier who had some rude habits and discipline issues… Ed straightened him out within the 5 basic lesson 1-1 package.. and even pushed into the advanced commands… My dog and I have formed a stronger relationship and bond because of this… all the while making huge progress to making him a very obedient dog. Ed will give you the tools and knowledge you need, but it is up to the owner to put in the consistent time and effort outside the lessons to really get your dog sorted out. Ed preaches this and I can’t thank him enough for it. Can’t say enough good things about this. Many thanks from me and Ace, Ed.

We had such an amazing experience through Bucks Dog Training ! Our trainer Ed was amazing with our dogs Sadie(German Shepherd – 1) and Daisy (8 months old). He worked wonders with them both during the two week board and train and continued following up with them once they were home. We can’t thank him enough !

We recently adopted the sweetest 1 year old pup named Phoebe and she was a handful to say the least lol. We couldn’t take her anywhere because she pulled like crazy and would start barking and crying anytime she saw another dog or person (she wanted to go over and say hi), at home she didn’t listen to us at all, annoyed our other dog constantly and barked all day at birds/dogs that she saw outside our windows. We were nervous about sending her away for the two week board and train but it ended up being the best decision we could have made for her and us! Edward was such a pleasure to work with and sent us daily updates and videos! Phoebe actually listens to us now, her relationship with our other dog is so much better, we can take her on walks and hikes, her impulse control is SO much better, she listens when we tell her to stop doing something. Edward even came out for a follow up session with us! We seriously couldn’t recommend him enough!

Our dog Charlie is a lovable rescue with a history of 4 other homes. Originally abused, he had very serious resource guarding which affected our ability to trust him. After a year of minor incidents, he bit my husband and in trying to get him to calm down he also bit me. He was taken to a shelter because we panicked, and we were heartbroken.
We called Ed and asked him to take him right after we got him back. Ed rearranged his schedule and took him for his train and board program which, by the way, he had recommended months before.
During the process Ed kept us in the loop with videos, texts and sometimes phone calls about his progress. One very important factor of the training was I knew Charlie was also being loved.
Charlie returned as a very obedient dog. He is just as lovable as before. His resource guarding is still present to some minor degree but as we follow Ed’s instructions and directions, Charlie is working with us to overcome this problem. Each day I trust him more and more.

Ed Frebowitz was phenomenal! From before we brought our Puppy to his training facility and even after our puppy completed his training, Ed walked us through every step of the process towards our puppy becoming a well trained dog. Ed sent pictures and videos throughout our puppy’s stay of his training. We loved seeing his progress!
