Puppy Training in South Jersey

Our South Jersey puppy training program helps young dogs develop structure, confidence, and good habits early. Training focuses on house training, crate training, socialization, obedience, and preventing future behavior problems. Puppy board and train programs are structured training sessions where your puppy stays with a trainer for a designated period, typically two to four weeks. These programs offer several benefits, including:
  1. Intensive Training: Puppies receive focused training from professional trainers, learning basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, come, and leash manners.
  2. Socialization: Being in a new environment with other dogs and people helps with socialization, which is crucial for a well-rounded puppy.
  3. Consistency: Trainers provide consistent guidance, reinforcing good behaviors and correcting unwanted ones, which can be harder to achieve at home.
  4. Owner Education: Most programs include sessions where trainers teach owners how to continue the training at home, ensuring lasting results.
  5. Convenience: This option is often convenient for busy families, as it allows training to occur while the owners are engaged in work or other responsibilities.
During the evening, your puppy will stay with me in my home and will be cared for like he was one of my dogs. After the board and train, we take the time to teach you all of the commands and any hand signals your dog may have learned, and we discuss how to maintain the level of training with everyday activities. Our board and train program also comes with five in-home follow-up training sessions to answer any questions you may have and help with continuing training. After two weeks, we will return your puppy to you, ready to be a well-behaved member of your family. For more information or to schedule an assessment, please call us at 609-800-0589.

What Puppies Learn in Boot Camp

Why Early Puppy Training Matters

Early training helps prevent common behavior problems such as jumping, biting, and poor impulse control. Establishing clear structure early helps puppies grow into confident, well behaved adult dogs.
